Our developers create innovative HTML5 trading applications that are globally deployed from the cloud. Quality Assurance is an essential part of our offering. Our QA goes well beyond manual point and click testing. We engineer quality into the fabric of our product. We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Engineer to streamline our quality assurance process. In this role, you will:
Get involved early in the product design process
Create test plans and test cases
Develop automated tests
Review user interfaces for conformity, functionality and design guidelines
Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through to resolution
Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality
Work with developers to understand the overall technical architecture
Lay the foundations for QA team expansion.
You will be enthusiastic, well organised and adaptable: a quick learner, able to pick up new concepts with relative ease. You will be dedicated to quality and have a passion for efficient, timely project delivery. You will also have great interpersonal and communication skills. No experience of electronic trading or FX is required but some knowledge is desirable.
Bachelor's degree or better qualification
At least 3 years of experience in web testing
At least 1 year of programming/scripting and SQL database usage
Advanced knowledge of testing approaches, techniques and methodologies
Experience of automated testing tools
Strong experience in writing testing documentation
Strong analytical skills
Attentiveness to detail and a curiosity for technology.
