Internship Programme 2019 - London

At BidFX, we work with purpose. The goal of an internship is to help you find your purpose. We seek fresh minds, creative thinkers, and talented technicians. If you are passionate about technology, financial markets, solving complex problems and challenging the norms, then we have a role for you.

BidFX is a start-up with a mission to disrupt the foreign exchange market, applying the latest technology to aggregate FX liquidity. FX is the largest financial market in the world, trading trillions each day. BidFX operate an innovative FX trading platform connected to all major investment banks and fronted by a cutting-edge, web-based UI. We are a small but fast-growing company with global aspirations.

An internship is your opportunity to make a real contribution while learning. We don’t need “runners” or someone to make our tea. BidFX interns work together, and with our recent graduates, to solve real world problems for our clients, collaborate across our teams, and experience what it’s like to be a full-time employee. Our internship scheme provides unique exposure to relevant industry training, access to senior staff, mentors, pairing opportunities, and more.

BidFX believe a rich mix of people of different backgrounds and points of view is essential to innovation. We value diversity and offer equal opportunities to all. We ask that you have:

●     Enrolled in a full-time degree and are returning to studies after the internship,

●     Solid programming experience and the desire to build upon it,

●     Spoken and written English to business standard,

●     The right to work in the UK (EU citizenship is sufficient).

Internships start in June/July and last from 10 to 16 weeks. You'll be paid £100 per day. We offer flexible working arrangements and will accommodate reasonable requests for a summer vacation.

Small perks include: free breakfast, monthly office lunches, Friday afternoon drinks, and regular social activities. We have a relaxed office environment with a casual dress-code.

Our teams work in the heart of London’s theatre-land, near Covent Garden. The area is pleasant, well connected, with a cool vibe, lots of good eateries, bars/clubs and plenty of shopping options.
