Responsibilities
- Work in an agile team on a flagship, multi-window trading system
- Develop and build large, complex SPAs in a scalable framework
- Responsible for solving technical complex problems
- Build brand new applications for chrome & desktop in React, RxJS and openfin
- Maintain as part of the frontend team a suite of 9+ applications, continually adding new features & keeping them up to date
- Regularly contribute to 8+ shared frontend libraries such as components, utilities and authentication layers
- Coordinate releases with BidFX teammates
- Design scalable software solutions with comprehensive arguments behind design choices
- Work closely with backend teammates to design systems & APIs
- Lead small product teams, mentor, train mid-level developers & share knowledge with team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related subject
- Minimum 6 years’ experience
- Self-motivated, organised, adaptable and a quick learner
- Flair for design, dedication to quality and have a passion for modern front-end development methods such as reactive functional programming (RFP)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- At least 3 years of React experience
- Experience with RxJS and good knowledge of webpack is an advantage
- Full stack development capability could be an advantage
